The building of this church started at the beginning of 1878, and the consecration took place in 1884.

The old bells were confiscated in 1917, only the bell from 1911, cast in the honor of Saint John, remained. Later, in 1929, the church receives two bells, one (the large one) being dedicated to the Holy Trinity and to Virgin Mary and the small one to Saint Joseph.
