In search of new adventures in Țara Silvaniei, we’ll be travelling to Vârșolț, where, in addition to an old tradition of wine, sport fishing is practiced on the largest lake in the county. The itinerary we propose is meant to pleasantly surprise all your senses. Next, we’ll arrive in the Meseșenii de Jos commune, where tradition is still preserved and where a new practice has taken root, that of growing lavender, a medicinal and beauty plant.

We recommend appropriate hiking shoes, given the walking to some of the objectives of this route.

This action is organized by Zalău City Hall, through the Tourist information Center, and is part of the "Circuitul Anotimpurilor" project, through which we aim to promote the Zalău municipality as a starting point for various tourist routes in the county.

Collaborators: "Hoinar prin Sălaj" blog, Compania de apă Someș S.A. Zalău Branch and the County Association of Sports Hunters and Fishermen from Sălaj.
